Is ModelAny really free?
Yes. ModelAny has no subscription, no credits and no in-app purchases. Answers come from the official AI websites under their own plans: free accounts use free quotas, and your ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro or Gemini subscription works exactly as it does today.
Do I need an API key?
No. ModelAny works with the AI websites you are already signed in to. It opens the page, fills in your question and clicks send, just as you would by hand.
Which AI models does ModelAny support?
ModelAny supports 11 AI websites: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok, Kimi, Qwen, Doubao, GLM (ChatGLM), Tencent Yuanbao and Wenxiaoyan (ERNIE). Video transcripts work on YouTube and Bilibili, and page text works on any regular website.
Does ModelAny upload my prompts or conversations?
No. There is no ModelAny server. Your question goes directly to the AI websites you choose. Drafts, settings, history and the memory library stay in your browser, and exports are generated locally.
Can using ModelAny get my AI account restricted?
ModelAny only performs the steps you would do yourself: open the site, paste your question and press send. Every action is started by you; it does not send bulk requests, bypass usage limits, solve captchas or get around any security check. Each AI website’s own terms still apply.
How do I export a ChatGPT conversation to PDF or Word?
Open the conversation on ChatGPT (or Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and other supported sites), click the small ModelAny tab on the right edge of the page, and choose Markdown, Word or PDF. The file is generated in your browser and saved to your computer. Step-by-step guide.
How do I summarize a YouTube video with ChatGPT or Claude?
Open the video on YouTube or Bilibili, click the ModelAny icon and choose Attach transcript. ModelAny reads the captions with timestamps, then you can pick Key points or Chapter timeline and send it to any AI. The video must have captions or auto-generated captions. Read the guide.
What can I do when I hit a message limit in ChatGPT?
Use Continue in another AI. On the chat page, open the ModelAny toolbar and click another model such as Claude, Gemini or DeepSeek. ModelAny packs the current conversation into context and opens it in a new tab so you can keep going without re-explaining.
Which browsers are supported?
ModelAny is available on the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons. Other Chromium-based browsers that can install from the Chrome Web Store can usually use it too. Firefox, Safari and mobile browsers are not supported.
Is the source code available?
Yes. The source code is public on GitHub so anyone can review how ModelAny handles data. It is released under a proprietary license: you can read and audit it, but not repackage or redistribute it.
